Basic Manners gropu class is 6 weeks long. It costs $75 and includes a training collar, booklet, and treats. This class is appropriate for puppies 4 months and older as well as adult dogs. We cover the following topics:
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is an advanced group class that is 6 weeks long. It is offered to dogs that have completed Basic Manners (or equivalent). The class costs $75, which includes a CGC booklet and a CGC test the final week. It covers the following:

The next Basic Manners class will begin on Monday, August 11 at 7pm. This is a beginning obedience class appropriate for dogs with little to no training.
The next Canine Good Citizen class will begin on Monday, August 11 at 8pm. This is an advanced class, therefore dogs must have completed Basic Manners or equivalent.
To reserve your place in either class, please print the registration form out at the bottom of this page and mail it in along with your payment (check will be held until the class starts). Classes are limited to 10 dogs in each. You will receive an informational letter confirming that you are in the class.
Private Lessons are available for behavioral issues, basic training, as well as advanced training. The cost is $40 per individual lesson.
I also offer Private Lesson Packages. They are 4 lessons long and cost $150. Description of each package and what is included is below:
Puppy Private Lesson Package covers walk on a leash, sit, lay down, come when called and accepting handling. Puppy socialization with safe older dogs, strange people, and new situations is also included. This package helps to get your puppy started on the right path! It is recommended for puppies 3-5 months old. It includes the book "What All Good Dogs Should Know" and a toy.
Basic Manners Private Lesson Package covers all of the commands taught in the group Basic Manners class (see class description above). Individual issues the dog is having can also be addressed. The package includes a training collar, training manual, and treats.
Canine Good Citizen Private Lesson Package covers all of the exercises that are part of the Canine Good Citizen test. An introduction to agility obstacles is taught as well. A Canine Good Citizen booklet and test is included in the package.
